## Status

Collection art is complete (**8,888** NFTs). The sealed-box mint is **live
end-to-end** (test inventory; full drop pending). Nominations are closed.
**Rarity rankings are fully public** — sealed pre-committed boxes make them
unusable for sniping, so fairness comes from the [commitment](verify.html),

The mint sells **sealed products**, not open cherry-picking of token IDs.

**Rarity basis:** August 10, 2026 ranking (`rarity_ranking.csv`).  
**Reserves:** only explicitly listed token IDs (default none).  
**Master equation:** Minted + Reserved = **8888**.

### Fairness: Commit → Buy → Detect → Deliver → Reveal

1. A 256-bit CSPRNG seed assigns every NFT to exactly one box; the allocation
   is **Merkle-committed with per-box salted leaves** and published
   (`mint/commitment.json`) **before** sales. Rendered guide: [verify.html](verify.html).
2. The public catalog ([sealed-boxes.html](sealed-boxes.html)) lists box id /
   tier / price / guarantee only — **never** contents.
3. The buyer approves a Chia **offer** for a generic sealed box in their own
   wallet (`chia_takeOffer` — the one method every Chia wallet implements).
4. Each offer names its **settlement anchor coin**; a scheduled watcher
   detects the spend on a public full node, marks the box SOLD, and retires
   the offer. No indexer, no keys, no operator presence required.
5. The operator delivers the pre-committed contents to the **settlement
   transaction's recipient** (never later possession) and publishes the
   chain-verified outcome; only then does the buyer's reveal show contents.

Operator tooling lives in the working-directory `mint_system/` package.
The serverless layer never holds keys and never marks a box sold from a
frontend request — SOLD comes only from observed chain state.

**Rules**

1. No private keys, mnemonics, or unrestricted hot wallets in the site or repo.
2. Mint fulfillment = published **offer** or **MintGarden** collection mint (user-approved).
3. WalletConnect only requests user session + optional `chia_takeOffer` / address RPCs.
4. Free **WalletConnect Project ID** from [Reown Cloud](https://cloud.reown.com/) → `js/config.js` → `walletConnect.projectId`.
5. Set `mint.enabled = true` only when `mintgardenUrl` and/or `offerUrl` is live.

- WalletConnect for Chia is documented by Chia Network sample dApps; Sage advertises WalletConnect support.
- Exact `chia_*` RPC param shapes can vary slightly by wallet build — verify with a testnet session before mainnet mint day.
- GitHub Pages cannot run a custodial mint server; user-wallet takeOffer / MintGarden is the secure static-site path.
